Correspondence of a Congregational minister who served as chaplain of the 21st Wisconsin Infantry, describing care of the sick and wounded following the battles of Chaplin Hills, Ky., Chickamauga, Tenn., and Nolansville, Ga. The 1864 letters denounce Copperhead politicians and urge Lincoln's re-election.
